Tutorial#6

How To Filter Using Actions
Step One:
On your canvas, create a new layer and use the freeform pen tool to create any swigly line.
Next you to your brush window and just select the 1px brush.
Step Two:
Make sure the Action Window is open by going to Window > Show Actions.
Then create a new set by clicking the button that looks like a folder.
Next, create a new action by clicking the button next to it that looks like
create a new layer. Put it in the set you just created and pick a
function key, I like to use F4.
Step Three:
Your actions are being recorded now, later it will be repeating.
Go to the Path Window (Window > Show Paths) and right click, choose stroke
using a paintbrush. Next, free transform (ctrl+t) and turn it or
move it slightly over a little. Then press enter.
Step Four:
On the Actions window press the stop button
that looks like a circle. Now press the function key (in my case F4)
over and over until you are happy. When you're done repeating it, go to the
Paths Window and right click > delete path.
After moving it into a picture, inverting it to white (CTRL+I)
and setting the layer to softlight. This is what I got.
